BRTC Summer Junior Competition

Join the Ballarat Regional Tennis Centre Summer Junior Competition, running across Term 4 and Term 1. This competition provides juniors with regular match play in a fun, supportive and competitive environment, helping players develop their skills, confidence and love for the game.

The season begins on Saturday 17 October 2026 and runs through until the end of April 2027, with a break during the school holidays. Competition is held every Saturday from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm, with Semi-Finals and the Grand Final played at the conclusion of the season.

Members and non-members are welcome to register. Ballarat Regional Tennis Centre members receive a discounted competition fee, with the member discount automatically applied during registration.

 

Competition Format

• Team-based competition.

• Each Saturday fixture consists of:

  • 4 singles sets

  • 2 doubles sets

• Every player will play:

  • One 6-game singles match

  • One 6-game doubles match

• All matches are played at Ballarat Regional Tennis Centre.

Season Information

• Season: Term 4 & Term 1

• Starts: Saturday 17 October 2026

• Finishes: End of April 2027

• Time: Saturdays, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

• Registrations Close: Sunday 11 October 2026

• School Holiday Break: Competition pauses during the Christmas and school holiday period.

• Finals: Semi-Finals and Grand Final held at the end of the season.
